Through a sudden impulse during an English lesson, a boy leaves a note on his chair behind, his hopes not high for any response. However, a girl finds the note in her own lesson and they begin conversing through scraps of paper at different times of the day. An unlikely pairing, they talk through pseudonyms and don't know the identity of each other; will they be able to keep up their odd friendship when their final year at school ends?
