This fanfiction is based on the series Warriors, written by Erin Hunter. ~ This book, compared to Firestar & Sandstorm/Spottedleaf, speaks more of Jayfeather's feelings and what made him choose the she-cat. As the books in the original series never really mentioned anything between Briarlight and Jayfeather, this fanfiction doesn't have a firm base to write on compared to Firestar & Sandstorm/Spottedleaf, and therefore this book is slightly toned down a bit. Sunkit is a young kit of ThunderClan, born from a kittypet mother and a warrior father. When her mother left the Clan as she wasn't fit for warrior life, her father started hating Sunkit a lot for ruining his life and stating she couldn't be a warrior. Sunkit doesn't give up though as she becomes Sunpaw. Though mostly every cat doubts that Sunpaw will ever become a warrior, Sunpaw ignores them. Little does everybody know, Sunpaw will be their only light in the darkness to come. (I only own the plot and oc's. The idea WARRIORS goes to Erin Hunter. Go read their books if you haven't already.)

DISCLAIMER I do not own warrior cats (Erin Hunter does), this is just a fanfic I made based off it. However, the plot idea and the characters belong to me so don't steal them.
