--Prequel to "The Girl Who Walked Away"--If you haven't read it, then go read it. There will be things in this book linking to it--

Scarlet was just 11 years old when her family got murdered, yet she somehow managed to escape. She was taken away to an orphanage known as the OCCH.
Every day, a child would get taken away. And every time, the owners of the orphanage said that they were getting "adopted".
But parents were rarely ever seen there. Those that left with the parents were the lucky ones.
For the ones that left with the owners, well, a terrible fate awaited them...
Or at least, so went the rumors.
In thruth, no one knew where the kids went. No one knew what happened to them.

Until Scarlet decided to investigate the cramped and dark halls of the orphanage, and uncovered secrets that never should have been uncovered.
