Witches exist, but they're different than what they may appear in stories. Some are mean, but some are kind-- they're all women who have unlocked and practiced their potential for magic. To continue the line these witches adopt young maidens to raise and teach them the way of the magical.

One such girl is young Hebe, of only 12 years old and unfamiliar to the world outside of the town she's always lived in with her adoptive witch mothers.
