Everyone in the kingdom of Estella knows of this one story

The king lost his queen shortly after she gave birth to the first princess

An evil woman took advantage of this and seduced the king and became pregnant while becoming the new queen

The baby princess of his true love was forgotten by the king and left alone in the old queens room to die

But the queen knew this would happen so before her death she sent her precious daughter to the neighboring kingdom with her trusted friend

Princess Cecile grew up in a small village disguised as a boy to protect her identity in which she did not know yet until she turned 16

She has been trained to be a man so she knows how to fight and wield a sword

Upon knowing her status, she decides to not claim her position as princess and instead lets her half sister have it, but instead work hard and earn a position as a knight to protect this kingdom in which she loves, but how did she end up loving  cold mysterious older boy named Sage who only has her as a friend when the enter the Shadow knights guard?
