No one ever believes a dreamer. Karenza tries hard to convey her feelings to others, but her dramatic background gets in the way. Her friends often think she is exagerrating, she seems to repel boys, and her parents can't stand her overdramatic antics. Yes I Know follows her journey through 8th grade, where she discovers her true friends and what is really important to her. She realizes that sometimes there is more to life than boys, drama, and the ordinary life of a middle-schooler.
