An Undertale Fanfic about one of my OC's. Lightning (an anthro fox) has had a wonderful time in the underground, until he accidentally ends up in a genocide run. Dealing with Chara, Flowey, his evil grandfather, and a genocidal version of himself, he tries to act like the monster he was raised to be and show them MERCY. Will it work out? Read and see!

This story is inspired by many other works and may bear some resemblance in certain places. However, I will endeavor to make this story it's own. 2 years ago monsters were released from the underground, ending their centuries-long imprisonment at the hands of ancient humans. Not a soul remains in the underground. But that doesn't mean no one's there. Be it chance or fate, The First Fallen will soon meet an all too curious human as he ventures into the deep beneath. The Reader or [Y/n] is male and Chara is female. I apologize if this bothers you it's just how I've always seen the character. Disclaimer: I don't own these Chara-cters nor do I own Undertale. This is just for fun. This story's rating is [M] for explicit language, violence, suggestive or sexual themes, and fantasy/fictional violence. A monster named Asriel came to help her, and quickly accepted her into the family. However, a disease fell upon the young child, and she died shortly after. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives.
