Since her sixteenth birthday, Whitney Copeland has found herself in dreams that are more like reality, with no way of making sense of what is happening to her-until she starts St. Augustine Academy.

Things are unusual at this prestigious boarding school of arts. There are five students who appear fascinated with her, and Whitney can't help feeling drawn to one of them in particular: Ian Horton.

When Ian reveals his "other" side to Whitney, the truth about her ability and her birth parents also comes to light. That and the possibility she'll turn into something treacherous on the first crescent moon of winter, now that she's sixteen. But Ian has sworn to protect Whitney and prove she's not what his friends think she is.

As if that isn't enough to worry about, a disappearance and terrifying attacks around the school leads them on another task. What they don't know, is the killer is closer than they think.
