Forever...
A word that holds a strong meaning, a word that can either make or break someone, a word that is used in many promises. But it means nothing if you cant keep that promise, I guess that's why I stay away from it because no one has ever kept their promise...

What's the point of making promises when they're supposed to last forever when nothing really does? People are foolish. They chase love without seeing the edge they're running toward, blind to the consequences, to the way they can break each other without even trying. That first promise we made... There has never been someone who didn't have a soulmate, but there was always a first time for everything, and as the years pass, Alexander begins to believe that he might just be that first.
