~~(Book 1 of The Bell Saga)~~ Zen, a merman, was left at his new family's door step when he was only a few months old, no one knows where he came from or what his real name was. His new family took him in as his own and raised him for his whole life, however, he was far from normal. Every mer-person has a tail that represents a ocean creature. Sharks, orcas, whales, clownfish, eals, ect; but no one knows what Zen's tail is, so no one ever treated him the same. His three friends and family were the only people who saw him as an equal, but now? Now everything is changed when him and his little brother are caught in fishing nets and taken by pirates. Pirates that Zen thought he could trust. He will soon realize that looks are deceiving.
