Draco is in need of a new assistant as his last assistant left due to Draco's mean temper and demanding ways. She was the the last of a long line of assistants to leave in just a 4 year period.
Lucius, Draco's father and head of the company, feels he needs to teach Draco a lesson and in doing so finds an assistant that might help with their companies dangerous public image.
The answer is Luna Lovegood.
