Matthew is special, he's not smart, he's not handsome, he is extremely kind that's why he is special. Matthew, because of an accident is deaf but even if he has a disability he doesn't let it bother his daily life. His parents love him, his close friend took the time to learn sign language for him, he is content and even though he was bullied because of this it didn't let him regret being deaf, however, he died. He met God and told him that his death wasn't intended to happen but can't simply bring him back so he decided to bring into another world.

You take the role of a artist, a very talented one at that, you created a bunch of characters and a world for them to inhabit. what you didn't know was that you had put so much time thought and energy into them, they came to life, they adored you from afar. but one day you found out your Girlfriend cheated on you, and had been for awhile. you came home in a drunken state and cried yourself to sleep. the next thing you knew you were in your own version of hell LITERALLY.

Matthew, a nobody fighting for rent, barely making it by. Fighting with old ties and practically failing in life, being desperate for work he landed a position as the CEO's assistant. The catch? Not one previous applicant had passed. On paper, the job seemed straightforward. But there is definitely something weird about the woman. To his surprise, the CEO turned out to be someone he recognized, a Doberman girl from his high school days. Back then, she was a shy, nerdy overachieving, top student in class, and a bit of a teacher's pet. Now, she's the powerful, asshole of a renowned tech company. Back then he always harbored a crush on her, but both demi-humans and humans alike had mocked him for liking someone outside his species, them being lab creations or whatever. Fear of rejection kept him silent. But now that timid girl he once knew has transformed into a cold, aloof, and brutally blunt woman. Though Matthew neither noticed nor understood the hate, treating everyone with the same kindness. His attitude baffles most, even slightly alienating him from his own. (First attempt at a story, the first few chapters suck in my opinion, please give criticism.)
Stuck
Matthew Parker was one of my closest friends out of our whole group. He and I had been practically inseparable since we met at a park at around 10 years old. He knew everything about me, and I thought that I had known everything about him. However, when he suddenly disappeared six months ago and then turned up dead in the woods just days later, I was left with many questions. I had begun to question whether or not I truly knew him. Everybody in the town loved Matthew, so in my mind the only logical explanation as to why somebody would want to harm him is that he was leading some sort of other life with a totally different group of friends.
