In a world where everyone has a mark somewhere on their body where their soulmate will touch them, all is nice. Except for Naomi Lee, a Blasian woman who doesn't care much for the idea of dating. Naomi's mark on her chest and being asexual, Naomi doesn't want anyone to touch her there. Naomi lives in an apartment in downtown Chicago. She's a firefighter and loves her job. Naomi is so love in with her job and the people in her department. She's a favorite there and everyone cares deeply for her. When Naomi is at her apartment one day, a fire sparks and burns rapidly. When Naomi is helping people get out, she passes out. Naomi's fire crew came to her rescue when she was found in the stairwell by her longtime friend and co-worker, Joe Cruz. Joe carries Naomi out and starts CPR. He notices Naomi's chest and his hands are alive with color. Joe doesn't know what to tell Naomi because she's his best friend. He holds off but Naomi notices her mark is not black but colored in. Only time will tell what will happen. **Time line doesn't match with the actual show. It's a different story with the same characters. Some of the same things happen though**
