A long time ago, the monsters were freed from the surface. However, my friends and I grew apart for...awful reasons. Almost everyone got mad at each other, and no one wanted to be in the same room anymore. Now, we've formed gangs. I'm part of the The Skulls, along with Gaster, Sans, and Papyrus. I don't like it. I don't want to have to hold a gun. I don't like wearing this 'Mafia' uniform.
My name's Frisk, and this is my story.

Hey guys! Welcome to my very first story called OVERTALE. It's a story about Frisk and the gang once they reach the surface, so if you haven't played the game this story will make no sense. Word has been released that monsters now roamed the surface, and you can't help but feel slightly skeptical. You had been told since childhood that monsters were vile and repulsive creatures who wanted nothing more but human blood pouring from the palm of their hand. You didn't know what to think of the monster race, but majority of the human race did. The tension between monsters and human kind was sickening. People had told you to stay away from monsters at all costs. But that'll be a bit difficult when two skeleton brothers move in next door to you. And why bother lying? (UnderTale completely belongs to Toby Fox, I in no way helped him create the game. I'm just simply a huge fan and want to write a short Genocide route fanfiction. Also, this story is COMPLETED, so don't expect any more updates. I also drew the cover.) A long time ago, the first human fell down into the ruins. A monster named Asriel came to help her, and quickly accepted her into the family. However, a disease fell upon the young child, and she died shortly after. Years later, a 7th human fell down into the ruins. However, the spirit of the first human took over her body, and decided to take out her revenge on the monsters of the underground. Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? The memories are still there. *I have lost interest to complete pre story and post story parts. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her.
