Ani is a 17 year old werewolf girl from the Bloodmoon pack. Being one of the pack member's daughter, Ani's life is bad but pretty normal...as normal as a werewolf who doesn't look like one has. She lives with her dad, her horrible step-mom, and with her two incestuous step-brothers. Her mother had left Ani and her dad when when Ani was still a young child and even though she doesn't remember much about her, Ani misses her terribly. And the alluring but deadly vampires frequently attacking the nearby packs doesn't do much help either.

When Ani recieves a mysterious letter from someone who claims to be her mother, Ani leaves in the middle of the night, accompanied by the Alpha's son Chase, to find her.

But when Ani finds out if her mother is still alive or if she is, where is the location, the truth Ani finds is shocking...and dangerous.
