This story is just a experiment. I have been periodically writing it for the past like two years. If I decide to go on with this story the updates WILL NOT be frequent, I can tell you that now. I already have like 4 chapters written and I am only throwing this one out there to see how it does, If people like it I will keep uploading, if not that's fine I won't upload, but I won't stop writing.
With that I OWN NOTHING, except for the idea for this story. I am only writing this once.

His name is not important, the only thing that is important is what he is after.

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!!
