When young Ren Thompson's mother died of her illness the young boy at the age of 6 was left to the care of her parents family. Left in the care of his abusive grandmother and grandfather the young boy remained strong in hopes that his father would one day come and take him away. Ten years later he grew up to be a fine young man with a strong will and a cheerful spirit, never giving up in face of his problems. He was on his 2nd year in high school with the opportunity of getting into a known private school Saint Simons Academy. He was practically  invincible however  it was perfect for him. All he wanted was to finish in a good school. He planned on  studying hard to get into the honor role and graduating with  a diploma and a letter of recommendation to a well known University. But sometimes life just doesn't go as planned and Ren Thomson was about to discover that with the not so easy way.
