Tatum Williams, 17 years old, is finally in her last year of school. For her the years seemed to drag longer than usual. Tatum and her mom move around frequently for reasons she likes to keep secret. She will be attending her senior year of high school in her fourth school in the past 3 years. Because they move around so often, people didn't see the need in learning her name so she was always called new girl, rumors would spread about her, and she was bullied. She only had one friend the past 3 years and she didn't stick around long. She thought people had found out about her past somehow and that was why they were so cruel to her. Maybe just maybe this year would be different because instead of moving to a different state they moved out of the country to London. She can finally truly be herself. No one would know about her past and wouldn't have any idea who she was, or she had hoped. On her first day, she comes face to face with a certain boy who's looks and kindness (which she didn't get much of) catch her off guard, but when talking to him she feels a set of eyes watching them and sees it's another boy. Out of these two boys one isn't who he says he is and the other knows exactly who that person really is. Tatum has one rule: don't fall in love because the next day she could be leaving. But will her heart let her stick to that rule? Who will she fall for, and how much pain will she have to go through to find out the one she may be falling for is the one who isn't who he says he is? Will the one who is right for her save her before she gets hurt? Can he get her to open up about her past and fall for him, who is everything she needs?

I'm damaged goods. You, and the rest of the boys along with you... you have to learn how to be okay with that.❞ - When Mickey is nearly 16, she survives a car accident that kills her best friend. After, her life takes a 180. She meets her brother, and the rest of One Direction along with him. Things begin to look up. Living with a boy band on tour, and eventually in London, was never the future she imagined. Getting scouted by SYCO was never the future she imagined. But it was a future she didn't mind. Mickey finally gets a taste of the happiness she never had; family, love, a home worth going home to. But 16 years of damage had already been done. Mickey meets the boys with one and a half good legs, a broken smile, and nightmares so bad she'd rather not sleep. Are five singers fit to be a family? And even if they are, will Mickey Horan ever be able to let them in? [COMPLETED - BOOK ONE OF THE CIY SERIES] [UNDERGOING EDITING. BEAR WITH ME.]

"She wants us to move in with her and - and her kids, of course." Louis blinks harder. "Wait - what?!" He can't fathom it. They've only been dating for five months or summat. "And you agreed to this?! Without even running it by me?!" "Yes," Troy sighs, eyes wide and apologetic, stature provocatively calm in contrast to Louis' jittery one, "and I knew you'd have a reaction like this one, but there's really nothing I can tell you other than... well, that I've said yes already and since you're only fifteen you're coming with me. And... that I'm sorry to uproot you like this, lad. But... yeah. I don't know what more to say." "Wait," Louis can't hardly breathe, "wait - hang on, does - does this mean that-" His dad nods. "Yes. We're moving to Holmes Chapel." or Fifteen-year-old Louis Tomlinson gets reluctantly uprooted from his Doncaster-life when his dad decides to move in with his new girlfriend Anne and her two kids. Speaking of the kids, one of them is this curly-haired bloke who's just a little too pretty for both his own and Louis' good.
