Humanity has always been given a choice. It only depends on which path we choose. Sometimes we choose the right one and sometimes we don't. We humans are the same when it comes to that, we only differ in the choices we make in life. We are given the free will to choose the way we live our life. The world is filled with all sorts of virtues, and with it sins. There was always a balance between sin and virtue, but what happens when one of them becomes stronger than the other? The balance is broken. It's our choice if we choose to listen to our conscience or succumb to temptation. The balance depends on humanity, us, to keep it intact. A slight change in the balance could be disastrous. Sometimes we don't realize the consequences of our choices, there will always be a positive outcome and a negative outcome. Another choice is to stay neutral, but there are some situations where you can not stay neutral. Perhaps you'll choose the right path, or maybe not. It depends on who you are and what you choose to be. Maybe you'll sacrifice your happiness for others or maybe you won't, it's your choice, and by you I mean humanity. I did not choose to be a hero, and I didn't choose to be a villain either. I chose to stay neutral, I chose to stay away from the conflict that was in store for me. Sometimes, we can't run away from our duty, I understand that now. We have to make a choice, running away from our problems and trials in life won't solve them. This is a story that changed my life, for better or for worse. I was a normal person, just like you, whoever is reading this right now. I lived my life as normal as life could get without the constant problems. Then one day my normal and mundane life changed. I can't say that I'm happy with how my life has changed since then. Still, I wouldn't change it even if time reseted and gave me a second chance. I did not choose to live my life like this, but I wouldn't change it. It's fine just the way it is. "Let's meet again, shall we?"
