Hazel Bennet just turned eighteen. Intelligent, crafty, a bit stubborn, and plagued with an ability she didn't ask for. 

From a young age she saw colorful halos around the people she walked past. Little did Hazel know it was her budding ability to see how long someone had left to live. 

Her mother feared the power that her daughter possessed, treating her like a monster and sending her to live with her aunt Clara. A therapist and an eccentric, Clara gave Hazel medication and all the affection and advice a crazy aunt could muster. The treatments worked wonders, ridding the girl of the sights she used to fear- Until a freak car accident caused all of her years of therapy to go floating down the creak beside Oak Street.

Life Lines is a story of a girl trying to discover how to manage the gift, or curse, she was born with.

This is a story about a girl, 𝐴𝑢𝑟𝑎, who can't find true love, but she also has astonishing powers, she can see people's secrets, can read their mind, turn invisible and use telekinesis. When Aura finds out about this she is determined to find the truth and good in every situation. Her wish is to find a partner, but it's a bit challenging considering her situation. PS- the first part is pretty badly written since i only started wattpad and everything. The story name has nothing to do with the story, just thought it sounded ✨aesthetic✨

It's annoying as hell that she's got the whole beautiful, smart and funny thing going on, she just needs to stay out of his way. Hazel, has moved back to the town she grew up in, she's next door neighbors with her best friend Lola, and she's met a new group of friends that make her world sweet and fun. Yoga, her job, her new friends and most importantly, her new baby that is the light of her life. Despite the absentee baby daddy, she's going to fill her son's world with all the love, time, attention and security that she missed out on as a young child. Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. Her move back to Ventura is the best thing (next to her baby) that's happened to her, ever, so she is not going to let the grumpy, jerk of a club lawyer/club brother get in the way of her own happily ever after. She just wishes that he wasn't as handsome, smart and very occasionally nice, he just needs to stay in his lane, and away from hers.
