After sitting in an empty chat room for several hours, John Laurens finally receives a message from someone called "Alexander".
The two, after a little bit of talking, find out that they're going to the same college: Columbia University. However, John's father, Henry, abuses John and his siblings, so after about a week of talking, John decides to tell Alex what's happening.
But before John can come to New York to live with Alex, an unspeakable tragedy occurs, leaving John in a wheelchair for what doctors say will be the rest of his life.
At first, John cannot speak. But when he gains back his voice, no one is ready for what he has to say, not even the Washington's.
Except for Alexander.
They made a deal, right?
Alexander Hamilton teased, belittled, picked on, and bullied John Laurens in grade school. John doesn't care, though, because he decided that all he wants is for Alex to marry him. And he'll do anything to make that happen. Even if they're not a perfect match.
Trigger Warning: John struggles immensely with his mental health because I struggle immensely with my mental health. Viewer discretion is advised.
