These are the words that eighteen-year-old Gracie May Jones could never say to the five people who made her life a living hell. She never had the courage to say them while she was alive--and these five people, they probably wouldn't have listened to her anyway. One sunny morning, shortly after Gracie's death, five letters appear in five different mailboxes. As the letters are opened, each recipient gets the chance to read how their actions affected her, and once read, none of the recipients can take her words lightly. Death seems to be a reoccurring trend in Leah Levson's life; first she loses her family in a car crash which forces her most dreaded nightmare to come true. She needs to find closure if she is ever going to recover and move on. Only when the verdict of suicide turns in murder does she realise just how tangled she is in a web of bare-faced lies, broken promises and deceit. With the culprit determined not to be exposed and closer than she thinks, for Leah untangling the web will make her question her trust in those closet to her. As she soon discovers it's not only her hiding a secret; everyone hides something.
