Isabella Juliet Higgens is a seventeen year old girl whose life is all about ballet.

She spends every second of her time preparing for practice, recitals, and shows. Living in the small english town of Adlington, she is absolutely determined to make her dream of becoming a professional ballerina a reality. When Isabella finds out she has been accepted into the prestigious Callahan School of Dance in London, there is no way that she can turn this down.

But she has two young siblings, and her parents cannot just move to London, and she is only 17, so it's not even legal for her to go to London by herself. After much persuasion though, her parents allow her to move to London, where she will be staying with her uncle Paul Higgens.

Isabella has no idea that Paul is the manager of the worlds most popular boy band, One Direction. In fact, she barely even knows One Direction at all due to her extreme focus on ballet. So, when she moves in with Paul, she isn't starstruck by the boys like most girls would be. She tries to ignore them in fact, determined to eliminate every distraction in order to pour all of her being into excelling at Callahan School. But, she can't avoid the boys or her uncle forever, and before she even knows it, she has been sucked into a life of paparazzi, fame, love, and heartbreak. But, will these distractions stop her from fulfilling her life long dream? Or, will she finally be a teenager, let loose, and maybe even fall in love?
