Jayla has never been a normal girl, for one thing her eyes are 2 different colors. And if you went to her house you would never see her parents, except maybe their ghosts. Definitely isn't like other girls, she's a ghoul. Tokyo is a dangerous place to be a ghoul, unless you can eat the other ghouls. She's part blue eyed ghoul, but unlike other blue eyes she can't eat human food without getting sick. It's the red eyes ghoul in her, all she can eat is ghoul. But when the CCG catch her they use her as a weapon against the others. But let's just say that when you have a hormonal 17 year old girl, things don't always go as planned.
