You’ve all heard the story of Soul Surfer, Bethany Hamilton, and how she overcame the loss of her arm and continued to follow her dream. No one knows the story of her best friend, Nina Hale. She was there when Bethany was attacked and saw the whole thing. But only Bethany and her family knows what happened 8 years ago with Nina’s sister. She hasn’t returned to the water since Bethany’s attack even though Bethany has been surfing for 3 years now since the attack. She been to therapist after therapist trying to figure out why she wasn’t surfing anymore when it was her friend that was attacked. Her surf boards, trophies and bathing suits were locked away. She never touched water except to drink and take a shower. That’s until the Haiku’s move next door with their 3 children and one happens to be Nina’s age, Kye. The only problem, he loves to surf. He practically lives in the water. What happens when Nina starts to have feelings for Kye? How far will he push her to surf? What will happen to Nina and Kye?
