Cammie Morgan is an independent woman. She was forced to be one after her father died in a car accident two years ago. And her mother buried herself with work and her brother was diagnosed with selective mutism. She also works a part time job as a resident physical therapist.  Cammie has to be the hero for everyone but. Who's her hero?
    
    Finnegan Jacobs is a troubled kid at least that's what his father told him right before he disowned him. Forced to move and live with his aunt and uncle in San Diego. Finnegan is dreading everything. He becomes popular through baseball and for a moment life goes great. Soon experiencing a career ending injury. Life is a mess again for Finn.
    
    Cammie and Finnegan soon meet. And as both of them struggle with their struggled past. They realize that maybe together they could figure things out.
    
    *This isn't a boy saves girl or girl saves boy story. This is a story about how to people's past help them shape each other.
