After the difficult times when Riley Daniels' twin sister Rachel died from a heart stroke when they were only 6 years old. And her mom isolating herself from the family for so long now and has deprived herself from life. Riley's father who works day and night trying to make enough for the three of them. He's trying to be both parents to Riley throughout her life while his grieving wife stays in her room that wouldn't get pass the lost of her child.
Then, 10 years later Riley's mom died from depression and it was now just her and her dad. Trying to start a new life with just the two of them was very difficult, especially when she was about to graduate high school, her father's job got transferred out of the state making her leave the past behind. She wanted nothing to do with the students at the new school, and wished to studying hard and graduate until her life couldn't get any worst until she found out that the guy who she trusted, Bryce Coleman, plays her.
