I thought 'Finally it's Friday!' I rushed out of the classroom and went straight to the library, my friend Annabeth called behind me "Trish! Trish!" I looked back and said"What?" she said "Are you going to the library?" I said " Yeah want to come?" she said " All right".
We walked together to the library, when we finally got there we said hello to Mr.Linden the librarian, he was an old man that appeared to some kids as creepy.
We went to him and I asked "Do you have any books that are one in the world copies?".
He responded in a gruff voice "They are in shelf 13". Then he said with a kind of sadness in his voice "I recommend book 317" I rushed to shelf 13 and started looking for the book. When I finally found the book I read the title "The Mystery of John Maple" By Unknown, it was a hardcover book and it seemed to be written by hand, the letters on the cover were written in gold and the cover was all black such as the back.

How do people die? Most importantly, what killed them? One day the girl suddenly disappears. Nobody knows where. A few days after she disappeared, all that was left of her was forgotten. Nobody knew who she was. All traces of her were gone. What really happened to that girl? What was her name? Where did she disappear to? What was the girl's backstory? As the story unfolds. My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I reached up, my arm stinging as I hit the hard wood table over me, which was keeping the rubble off me, miraculously. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me.
