El pueblo de Venezuela vive momento cruciales en su historia, la inseguridad, el desabastecimiento, la hambruna, y la pobreza; han llegado a su estado mas critico y esto ha obligado a la mayoría de los Venezolanos a salir a protestar en contra de un régimen que solo se preocupa por afianzarse en el poder, mientras el pueblo sufre penurias. Pero del sufrimiento y la opresión, han surgido un grupo de valientes que se hacen llamar la resistencia, y que luchan día a día para hacer valer sus derechos y buscar un cambio profundo en Venezuela y restablecer la democracia perdida hace 18 años.
Una pequeña reflexión de lo que esta sucediendo en estos momentos en mi país. Hay que buscar todos los medios posibles para que las personas conozcan la verdad de lo que estaba pasando. Y que mejor manera de hacerlo que escribiendo un corto extracto de las experiencia vividas en las manifestaciones que se están realizando actualmente.

Across Two Worlds: The story of how I became a Hero
Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world. Finding it Ironic that dying was the catalyst to him realizing he had lived his life all wrong. Surprisingly though he found himself in a place that was unrecognizable. He could never have imagined that this was only the start of what he now sees as a second chance. A chance to keep a promise he made to someone dear, and a new promise to himself that he would become what that person needed most back then, A Hero.

Killing Her Softly
A Zurena FanFic. One-shot, but really, really long. 2nd person/Zulema's POV (Congratulations, you get to be Zulema)! Set in Season 5. Takes place after New Year's but prior to Maca telling Zulema that she quits. I wrote this to make El Oasis make sense in my own head, because while the Zurena interactions were on point, the story-line was total crap. I'd prefer not to give too much away here, but I understand that people like to know what they are getting themselves into, especially given the length of this work. So I will say this... This is written as a sort of stream-of-consciousness piece that takes a dive into Zulema's psyche as she navigates a meaningful day and reflects on herself and her relationship with Maca. It's written from Zulema's perspective, and truthfully second-person usually isn't my favorite, but it just felt right for this story. So for those of you who find that approach awkward, I hope you will still give it a chance. This is the first fic I have ever written, so feedback is truly appreciated. And since I couldn't get the d@mned Dedication option to work, I will add that here as well- This fic is dedicated to my little fried shrimp who inspired me to write it, encouraged me to publish it, helped me with the Spanish bits, acted as the world's greatest sounding board, and without whom it would not have ever happened. *DISCONTINUED* Kageyama x reader Kageyama is the same as always uptight, moody, and socially awkward. Or is that just an act? (Y/n) is an average teen girl with an okay life. It's not too sad but not too happy. Her father and mother were very happy together. Not only that but they were rich. (Y/n)'s father is a very very important business man who decided to marry not for money, but for love. Or that's what they both thought at first. One day they get in a big argument during (y/n)'s last day of middle school. Making her have to leave to America instead of going to a school in Miyagi prefecture. The only thing is she was hoping to go to Karasuno with her boyfriend, Kageyama. So (y/n) decides to break up with him knowing she may never see him again. Little did she know she would be moving back after 2 weeks in America. That's right 2 weeks. (Y/n)'s mother realizes the mistake she made after moving so decides to move back to Miyagi prefecture. Once she finds out about the volleyball club she remembers how much Kageyama loved volleyball and notices that there's an opportunity to join by becoming the assistant manager for when the 3rd year, Kiyoko Shimizu, graduates.
