I am a writer.
It's a simple phrase, but the countenance of the word does naught to define the realm in which I write. I tell you the story of the father who is forced to raise another's son. I tell you of the husband who watches his wife pass before his very eyes. I bring you stories of the suicidal, of those caught within the world of fairies and rainbows, but also words caught on fire which burns away the remnants of memories.
I am a storyteller.
It is in this collection that you can read the many genres of my writing - some horror, some slice of life. Some long and some short. Here, you can read the full variety.

Suicidal
This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. Perfect Storm
___________________________ "You were mine the second you put your signature on that contract." He looked at me with pure lust and dominance in his eyes. "F*ck you." He smirks and moves closer to me, coming to my side of the booth and caging me against the window. "I'll give you what you want if you do." "And what do I want?" I question, holding eye contact. "My head between your legs." ❀❀❀ "Dating or not... you're still mine." Astoria always thought that the world was set up a certain way. That way being two levels of living. There were the rich people, and then there were the people who could barely afford a pack of ramen noodles. Obviously she was the ladder. Her mother died when giving birth to her and her father gave her to her grandmother who died of old age before she could turn 3. He leans in, his breath ghosting over my skin, every inch of space between us collapsing. "Still pretending you have a choice?" His voice is soft, almost amused. Fingers tighten around my chin, tilting my face up until I'm caught in his unyielding gaze. Cold. Calculating. "Belong?" he echoes, as if the word itself is laughable. "You exist because I allow it. You breathe because I haven't taken that from you, yet." Tears burn at the edges of my vision, but I don't dare look away. "Fight all you want," he murmurs, eyes scanning my face, his grip unshaking. "Scream, beg, break--I don't care. In the end, little one, you'll learn. Because every part of you?" His lips brush against my ear, a cruel whisper of finality. Please, try not to hate her. She's just a girl, after all. She's still figuring things out and doesn't understand what love truly means. She's never learned how to love or be loved. It's not entirely her fault. Others should have tried harder to understand her instead of blaming her. They left her feeling abandoned and labeled her as a monster. Just an Ordinary Girl
WattNaNo Drama Pick Winner 2018. This book has slices of my life, a memoir, covering my difficult childhood coping with my mother's severe mental heath issues and my journey today. This is a collection of short stories that can be independently read. A positive and honest recount. Postcards from the past, some bad some good. My mother's schizophrenia terrified me when she died it made an impact on my life. Writing this book is my chance to let it go of the pain and move on. I felt confusion, anger and fear as a child but now I am a mother myself I realise my mother was unable to help the way she was and that's so sad, that we never connected. I have written this from an observation point of where I have looked back a the past with an adult view and perspective over time. I've done my best to be honest. So take me as I am or leave me be.
