After Link finally defeats Ganondorf, and saves Hyrule, Midna, The Twilight Princess, regains her true form. The long journey that she and Link had faced together had come to an end. When it is time to return to her own world, she says her goodbyes, then makes a decision for the good of both worlds. "I... I'll see you later" she says as she returns to the Twilight, breaking the only connection between worlds, the Mirror of Twilight.

Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. Elyza looked past her village to the land beyond. She saw the Dueling Peaks. She had never left Necluda. Even Kakariko Village seemed far away. Now, looking at it, it didn't seem so far. She looked the other direction. She saw what looked like a big...tower. Huh? Has that always been there? Elyza thought. I don't think I've seen that before. Ever. When did that get there? And... why is it glowing orange? A story that follows the storyline of Botw but we gave Link some friends (my ocs). :) Pretty angsty in places. When Link tells Zelda of his journeys through other lands, one of those tales becomes all too real for the princess. What is it? Only one way to find out! To reiterate, this story isn't mine.
