There are certain fanfiction plotlines that I keep running across (most of them involving Harry Potter, because that's about half of what I read). Though the stories cover the normal fanfiction range of writing skill levels, there are certain elements that tend to bother me no matter how well written the story otherwise is. This is my response to that.
