Jephthah, the son of a whore, was pushed into exile from his birthplace of Gilead to the land of Tob. Rebecca grew up there, without a mother's love and with her eyes always fixed westward. To her own promised land. The land that is their birthright. Jephthah makes a vow he cannot take back to the most puissant Being in the universe. Rebecca must die for her love, joy and music.
