This story is for all those people who grew up feeling alone, who are judged for who they are, feeling helpless, and feel like they have lost hope. A Loud Cry in Silence will hopefully help you to not give up on life. We all have a purpose in this world, and we are all meant to prosper. If people don't support you, don't give up. If your father was never there in your life, don't give up. Live each day knowing that you are special, no matter what people say. Don't give up on your dreams no matter the challenge. But most importantly, don't give up on God, because He never gave up on you.

Life Too Quickly (prologue story)
"Dad!" I yell as I walk into the house. I'm greeted by nothing, except silence. My dad is rarely home, I don't know what I am expecting. Ever since my mom died, he's been nothing but distant with me. I mean, he was always distant, even before mom passed, but before, I thought that he just didn't care about me, now... I know he doesn't. ********** "Hello?" I say through the phone, grabbing a cloth, running it through the faucet, and pressing it against my knee. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I hear a chorus of people yelling through the crackly phone. I start to laugh. ******** My mom had died. My dad is an alcoholic that doesn't care about me. I have three best friends. One new friend (Who's a bartender/stripper/lesbian). A great job as a DJ at this amazing club. And a whole new idea to get away from my dad and stop holding on to the past. ********** "It called and emancipation," she said through the phone, laughing, knowing that I was anxious. An Unspoken Thing
They say when you fall in love, there's no denying it. Falling in love is the most special thing in the world, because standing before you is the one you're meant to spend the rest of your life with. Once, I did believe that, with everything of my very being. It was incredible, undeniable as had once been said. Our wedding was so beautiful, touching some would say. I'd never seen a man cry before that day. Then things changed. I lost feeling as I became trapped, unable to pull from the web surrounding me. I would scream, yet nobody heard a thing. Cry, yet nothing changed. Fight, but I always lost. "Say you love me." I remember telling him. He would always say he did, then the beatings started again and I was back in a cycle of torment and pain. I had given up completely. Then one night, things changed. A miracle some would say, as the monster before me was no more. The car wreck had saved me. The memories and nightmares would still haunt me though. Overtime I tried to be happy, but his face, his hands, his spit, all the memories kept coming back. I never thought I'd be able to get away. I lost all belief in love and beauty. All I saw was destruction as I locked myself away from the pain waiting to creep back in. I spoke of this to nobody, and with that meant I stopped speaking all together.
