I walked in to my house to see my parents are sitting in the living room, heads down, somehow in a shameful manner. This is something new because usually my parents don't care about me, but today they realised well... acknowledged my existence.

"Bashira, come here please" my mum begins.

I walk slowly towards them and take a seat, thinking they found out a secret, my heart beating erratically as I take a seat.

"Dear..." my father began.

"Yes dad" I asked quietly looking down.
