La humanidad tiene los días contados, la excesiva contaminación ha provocado numerosos cambios climáticos, acompañados de cientos de desastres naturales que van acabando con toda la vida en la tierra. En este escenario apocalíptico nos encontramos con Evan Lorens, un estudiante de 21 años que junto a algunos refugiados tratarán de sobrevivir  a una nueva era de la extinción, en la que solo tienen veinte días para escapar de todos los desastres naturales  que la humanidad ha provocado a lo largo de los años.
