Rylee Gray has no easy life. Its not easy being the daughter of the most worshiped man in the town. Especially when she isn't the perfect, respectful, well mannered daughter she was expected to be. But that's nothing compared to the secret she carries around with her everyday.
Her father is the towns sheriff. He has been the big hero of the town since he was 17 and saved her mother from an accident, starting his life work as the sheriff. But what people dont know is that Danny (Rylee's Father) is the biggest alcoholic in this town. He keeps it hidden real well but when he comes home at night nothing is in his way. And his family suffers for it, especially Rylee.
Rylee is sarcastic , and has a rebellious attitude. She has been the school's loner since the day she stopped being happy and thinking life was sunshine and roses. And the day she stopped doing what she loved most...at least that's what people think. What they don't know or care to ask is why.
Rylee's mother won't say a peep to anyone about the things that go on behind closed doors. So with no one to back her up or listen, Rylee sees no point in trying to tell and is slowly slipping away. But then she meets Sam. Sweet, gentle, but most of all cocky, Sam.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
