Her father is the towns sheriff. He has been the big hero of the town since he was 17 and saved her mother from an accident, starting his life work as the sheriff. And his family suffers for it, especially Rylee.
Rylee is sarcastic , and has a rebellious attitude. She has been the school's loner since the day she stopped being happy and thinking life was sunshine and roses. And the day she stopped doing what she loved most...at least that's what people think. What they don't know or care to ask is why.
Rylee's mother won't say a peep to anyone about the things that go on behind closed doors. So with no one to back her up or listen, Rylee sees no point in trying to tell and is slowly slipping away. But then she meets Sam. Sweet, gentle, but most of all cocky, Sam.
