Masie Davis was Riverdale's very own Veronica Mars, always getting in trouble and putting her nose into where it was not needed or wanted. The nickname had formed when her mother had died when she was eleven, popping the idea into her tiny head that a trail of evidence was to be foundover her sudden death. The town had labeled her as their very own private detective, based upon the classic television show.

When an actual murder falls into her lap, Masie actually gets the chance to dig into the story of how and why Jason Blossom had been killed. While joining tasks with Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones, Archie Andrews and Veronica Lodge, Masie finds herself stuck. Stuck in the middle of a messy web of lies and deceit with the mystery of blood and maybe revenge.

But Masie never could turn her back on a good horror story; because 'mystery' was her middle name and she would stop at nothing until she figured out the strange case.
