Summary:
The war is finally over, and Hermione Granger is looking for a little bit of normalcy. But, of course, being not only a witch, but apart of the Golden Trio renders that impossible.
All Draco Malfoy wanted was to finish his last year at Hogwarts and be done with it. No Voldemort, no wars, and no unnecessary drama. But, as Draco should already know, nothing at Hogwarts is ever that simple.
Through in an exploding cauldron, a jealous ex, the dead coming back to life, disapproving friends and family, love potions, and this is sure to be the biggest train-wreck Hogwarts has ever seen.

The Wizarding War had been won and professor McGonagall had filled the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts. Draco's father, Lucius Malfoy, had been send to Azkaban for all the things he had done and both Narcissa and Draco were lucky enough not to go with him, they got a second chance, under strict rules, from the Ministry for Magic. Hermione needs to spend the day with Malfoy and it is absolutely the last thing she wants to do. Needing to honor her fiance's side of a bet, she finds herself at Malfoy's private island and has no idea what to expect. First Dramione, we'll see how it goes. There will be no Ron bashing. While he isn't the brightest, and might make foolish decisions, he is still a good guy. So yes, he is the reason for everything falling apart, but only because it was needed for the story to make sense. Besides, good people make bad decisions too...
