Katy Monroe Abbott was new to the city of Domino. She and her family had recently moved to the city from a small town in the USA after her dad got a tech job at Kaiba Corp. She had recently started going to school at Domino High school and her locker just so happened to be next to the Seto Kaiba. (She didn't know who he was though.) On her first day, she tries to introduce herself to him, but Kaiba ends up being rude to her. After being at the school for a while, Katy ends up making some friends and eventually she's able to even get Kaiba to open up to her - which surprises everyone. What nobody knows though, is that Katy has a messed up family life - one that she's too afraid to talk about.

Just so you guys know this is my first ever Yugioh fanfiction. Just so you know, I'm not a very good speller so look out for spelling mistakes. There may be a few grammar errors as well. I choose the title for this story to be Unapologize, after a song by Carrie Underwood. I was listening to the song the other night and it made me think of Seto Kaiba.

There will be a bit of violence in this story as well as possible mentions of abuse. There will be some bullying as well. Other than that, I don't feel like I should warn you guys about anything else.

Roland wasn't given half a glance by Kaiba, although he did gain your attention when he held out the mentioned newspaper in your direction. You almost immediately regretted throwing a curious look at it at the sight of the headlines. The front page was titled "CEO's secret lover! Is Seto Kaiba finally getting married?!" and it showed two pictures and a lot of text - you didn't even bother reading it. What was already shocking enough were the two photos. One of them showed Kaiba and you entering his mansion, him having an arm wrapped around you while the other was taken when Kaiba had kissed you at Burgerpalooza last night. It did seem rather strange and out of character of Seto to invite you to a 'date', even go as far as to kiss you. But now it was all clear. Kaiba indeed wasn't one to do irrational things out of the blue, much less things that weren't convenient for either him, his younger brother or his company. He knew all along that the two of you were being watched by reporters. You wouldn't even be surprised if it was him who set it all up. "Kaiba! What the hell is the meaning of this?!" "Kaiba...
