Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. Add to that, the fact that somehow you got arrested because your cat sitter didn't take the day off and then you go around expressing your unconditional love for pancakes in a Super holding cell because technically they can't put you in a proper prison and you don't really have a choice because lawyers are expensive? And then, you realise your best friend is plotting go take over your spot as the greatest villain there ever was? Okay, maybe not the greatest, but you do come pretty close to it! To top it off, there's that one Superhero who's just so completely gorgeous, you couldn't imagine any harm coming to them? Because they're just that precious? I guess that makes me a Supervillain with minor time travel superpowers and a huge crush on a not so powerful Superhero? And all you have to do is protect yourself and everyone you love from your ex best friend/sidekick --because let's face it that's the highest level of praise for a wretched traitor here--and you also have to get out of Super Holding somehow? The story of a guy with extraordinary abilities and extraordinary problems. He meets friends, enemies, and loses a bit of each. I enjoy writing and drawing comic books and making my own heroes and villains and I wanted to see how turning my favorite hero into a book would turn out. Feel free to give feedback, it always helps. Jack Carter is your semi-average guy. Sixteen, 5' 11, charcoal black hair, and a slight muscle build. The rich popular kid that everyone adores. Until his life takes a turn for the better and worse. Sure, the move was bad. A whole new city across the country. The Big freakin' Apple. Then there was the fact that he had to leave all his friends and make new ones. Double bummer. But juggling his new abilities and super villains? Now there's the ride of a lifetime.

A Guide to Being Super by tangles-

Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). Emerson Rogers liked to think of himself as an ordinary teenager. After all, he had no reason to believe otherwise. He went to an upstanding private school with the rest of his friends, was a straight-A student, had no disciplinary issues, and was well-liked according to his classmates and teachers. If anyone were to take a glance at him, they would assume that he was just another carefree rich kid with no problems in his life to worry about. Unless you consider the fact that his evening plans included putting on a blue super suit and speeding through the streets as a crime-fighting superhero. Okay, so maybe his life wasn't as ordinary and carefree as he liked to portray it. With Emerson starting his senior year of high school, things have started to become a bit more tricky than he would've preferred. Defending Jefferson City and maintaining a normal school life as a cover can be hard, but throw in his best friend getting closer to the truth about his alter-ego's identity and a mysterious villain working from the shadows who always seems to be two steps ahead, living a double life is going to be his biggest challenge yet. Especially when new villains start crawling out of the woodwork, thirsty for a fight, and his old villains return stronger, angrier, and looking to settle a score. As Emerson starts to uncover the truth behind where all these villains are coming from, he finds that not everything is what it seems on the surface. And that he and this mysterious villain have a stronger connection than he originally thought.
