Basically this is a poem I wrote about General Douglas Haig from WW1. I wrote it in about 10 minutes in Class so it's pretty bad. Louis x

1917 (Part One of the Darwin series)
The year is 1917, and the Great War is slowly drawing to a close, but the end can't come fast enough for the two nations from the Southern Hemisphere, exhausted and ready to go home and to try to resume a normal life. Kyle knows he's close to breaking. Even hearing the name of that cursed place aloud causes him pain, and he knows Avery feels the same. Then comes that stupid smiling American, with his talk of heroes and aide. And Kyle can't help but start to feel differently about Alfred. But developing such feelings in the middle of war can be a dangerous thing.

Many things fall. Such as heros. All heros eventually fall. Some because of a villian. But America? No, this hero was falling to something else. Something worst. Something more painful. He was falling to those he thought we're his friends and family. ----------------------------------------------------------------- You would think that he was one of the happiest people you would ever know. But that's a lie. America- no- Alfred was hurting. He was taking one to many hits. The pain was getting out of control. Everything was spiraling downwards. The Actor
Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. His mother's revenge would play out, and it would make him the happiest man in the world. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hetalia:Axis Powers. No ships in this book! If there is it's in the past! Mostly sibling bonding. America can shapeshift and is non-binary (he/him female titles).

It is implied a character has been sexually assaulted as a child. This may be unsettling to some readers. Some profanity. One sex scene which is consensual but highly suggestive. With that tale happened the forbidden story of two young Germans in love, an Aryan and a Jew. As the world was thrown into the chaos of the Second World War and the Holocaust, new horrors unfolded in the peaceful lives of the young lovers. Death and despair that was tested with the strength of a smile or two.

words from a broken soul
I don't own the two songs I've posted on the two newest poems but give them a listen if you like. just a collection of free verse/rondel poems(short stories to lengthy ones I guess) I've written over the course of ten months so far some won't be uploaded as I know they would get flagged as to dark of topics so yeah enjoy or don't. Feed back is helpful I didn't really pay attention in my English class during poetry so I don't really know how to punctuate the poems. Also I know the first one is pretty bad but it was the first I've ever written the rest I think are okay but we're our worst critics after all. Also there are some with dark topics such a suicidal ideation, abuse of a child, sexual abuse, and not technically a dark topic but metaphorical suicide which talks about suicide so you have been warned for when I get around to uploading the darker poems.

Because of him, millions died and many countries especially Israel, France, and Poland don't want to be around him. Because of him, the Berlin Wall went up. The guilt and darkness are consuming him.
