Susan has been in this messed up world for a while now. The dead are walking, and even after all they've been through, her dad won't stop beating her. She considers this her last days, and soon her faith begins to run out. That is, until she meets Carl Grimes. He and his dad, survivors themselves, are trying to find the rest of their group after they were split up. Soon she finds comfort in him, and how he tells of a better life- even in this chaos. He teaches her how to survive. Soon enough she falls for him, but with everything falling apart she wonders if she can excape from her father, herself, and the world.
