Ever since the war between the people of the country, the whole country became divided. We were always told that we were lucky to be where we were, in our half of the country. We were lucky that Master had taken us in, he had given us food and water and shelter, we were lucky to be serving him. I just tried to stay out of trouble and make sure that the other girls didn’t get into trouble. The other girls were my priority, I’d do anything for them, what I didn’t know was that there had been lies strewn across my life with Master.

Words We sat on opposite sides of the room, she was asleep. I think he was exhausted, so was I,but we both didn't want to sleep. We couldn't sleep, maybe a bit scared that if we close our eyes then she will be gone.
