Nathan Hawke, a 16-year old boy who had his parents killed by an unexpected fire at his coastal California mansion on his 7th birthday. He later is adopted by the McCrea family, who happens to be the prestigious wolf shifting family in the world. Later Nathan finds a guy who changes his life completely. Nathan then figures something out about himself that he has never know. A rare and valuable power that has everyone wanting to harvest and use against the world.
