Tommy Joe Ratliff, a sixteen year old, lived a hard life when he was kidnapped at age fourteen for prostitution in a gay bar. Two years later he was rescued by police along with other people. Now he goes back to school, but people bully him for the fact he's gay and the fact that he was a stripper for men.
Adam Lambert is a sixteen year old who moved from Indiana to California with his family when his Dad founded a chocolate company. Adam goes to high school and that's when he meets shy scare and beautiful charming Tommy Joe Ratliff.
Tommy and Adam start to have feelings for each other, but Tommy knows no one would ever want someone like him. Tommy tells Adam about his past, but Adam is still convinced that no one would steal his heart the way Tommy has, and no one will ever make him suffer again. . .or will that be a broken promise. . .
