Three years have passed since the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, but for Ayuka Yuna, it still felt like only yesterday. Nightmares and gruesome memories of the battlefield haunted her mind on a daily basis, forever reminding her of the corpses littering the ground. Over time the incessant thoughts and images were too much, and she became desperate to escape them... by any means necessary. Suigetsu Hozuki had grown closer to Ayuka throughout the war, becoming one of the only people that she felt she could trust.
