A low rumbling brought the mother back to the present; she walked over to her husband and took one of the twins in her arms, a baby boy with jade green eyes and a tuft of black hair. He giggled as his mother nuzzled his neck. "James, I'm going to put Harry and Hailey to bed now," she said as she took the small girl into her arms too, she was heading up the stairs when she heard the front gate creek, she stopped for a moment to listen then shrugged it off.
