Fallout is a deadly thing, and when the war between Regions becomes nuclear, Alola falls. The radiation makes the land near-unlivable, Pokèmon are twisted and mutated from exposure, and the people that didn't die have to fight for every second of their existence.
You are one of the survivors, though life is hardly worth living. The only thing that keeps you going is your stubborn will to live. But then you meet Guzma. And then, maybe, just maybe, you've found your heart's reason to beat. Maybe you've found someone to make life worth living, at this, the Earth's end.
