In a futuristic world where only rules, facts and logic are valued; individuality, self expression, free will and creativity were made illegal by the government, who wanted to prevent future conflict, created by individuals with reckless and creative minds. She sends Tilda to the sensor hq she runs, where Tilda meets fellow sensor James, who along with her long term friend and sensor Jeanie; joins the rebellious organisation, known as the Wish Sensors. They protect and train sensors, ready for the ban when they take back control of the government, that oppresses them. While Tilda and James grow closer, the rebellion grows with propaganda, threats and sabotage; as Tilda must deal with why fate has made her different to the other sensors . The sensor struggle grows more intense to demonstrate what has been kept from the world. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
